Supporting Women With Big Dreams

With over $257,000 in scholarships awarded over the last 50 years, the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Panhellenic has awarded scholarships to rising high school seniors or graduate students.

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP**

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Applicant must be an active member of a National Panhellenic Conference [NPC] fraternity/sorority.

  • Applicant must be initiated as an active member before March 2025.

  • Applicant must have graduated from a high school in Kansas counties (Johnson, Miami, Leavenworth, Wyandotte) or Missouri counties (Jackson, Cass, Clay, Platte, and Ray)

  • Applicant can attend any college or university in the United States

  • Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student and have a minimum 3.5 GPA**

  • Applicant must be a full- time student, a rising senior and graduating in fall of 2026 or spring of 2027

Previous Greater Kansas City Panhellenic undergraduate scholarship recipients are ineligible.

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend the annual Panhellenic Spirit Celebration to be held on a date to be determined in April, 2026.

GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP**

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Applicant must be an active member of a Kansas City chapter of a National Panhellenic Conference [NPC] sorority

  • Applicant must have graduated from high school in one of the nine counties listed above in Kansas and Missouri

  • Applicant must be currently attending, accepted to, or returning to in 2025 to graduate school at a college or university

  • Applicant may be a college senior or college graduate who plans to attend graduate school in 2025.

Previous Greater Kansas City Alumnae Panhellenic graduate scholarship recipients are ineligible.

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend the annual Panhellenic Spirit Celebration to be held on a date to be determined in April, 2026.

** A full-time (registered for 12 hours) undergraduate student who will complete her degree in fall 2026 or spring 2025, or a graduate student during the 2025-2026 academic year and beyond.

How to Apply for a GKCAP Scholarship

  1. Check Eligibility: Review the scholarship criteria

  2. Prepare Your Materials: Gather transcripts, letters of recommendation, and any other required documents.

  3. Complete the Application: Fill out the application form thoroughly and accurately.

  4. Submit Before the Deadline: Make sure your application and all materials are submitted on time.
